Call of Duty is Bringing Lara Croft as an Operator in September

Lara Croft is joining Call of Duty: Warzone and Modern Warfare II as a part of Season 5 Reloaded along with 21 Savage and Mace

With the official announcement of Call of Duty (CoD): Modern Warfare III, the franchise has been dropping bombs left and right. CoD: Modern Warfare II is getting a revamp with the new Season 5. The franchise is calling this Season 5 Reload as a “new Resurgence experience.” with all new content. The content drop for Season 5 thus far includes 7 new operators, a new multiplayer map and new weapons with old ones resurfacing. Yet, the developers were not satisfied and they announced 3 new Operators alongside the existing 7 for the season on August 28th, 2023. Lara Croft is joining the existing roster of Operators and here is what we know about it as revealed by the developer, Activision.

As mentioned before, the Season 5 Reloaded of CoD: Modern Warfare II and Warzone already includes 7 different Operators in the roster. Yet, Activision decided to add 3 new operators to the roster of 7 Operators. They announced the content drop of the whole Operator roster in a blog post on August 29, 2023. They officially announced Lara Croft, the protagonist of Tomb Raider as part of the Season 5 Reloaded Operators in a post on their official Twitter account. Here’s the tweet that they posted:

As mentioned in their blog post, “the battle is far from over” as Lara Croft is not the only Operator joining the roster. Two other Operators are also joining the roster alongside Lara. 21 Savage and Mace are coming back to join the roster and make it a ten-strong army of Operators. Here is a list of all the 10 Operators that will be joining Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II Season 5 Reloaded:

• 21 Savage
• Mace
• Graves
• Oz
• Arthur
• Mila
• Velikan

All of these 3 new Operators will be available as a part of the “Tracer Pack” in three different bundles. Each of these bundles will include items unique to each Operator. The 21 Savage bundle pack will be available for purchase from August 30, 2023, right at launch. The Lara Croft and Mace bundle packs on the other hand will be available for purchase from September 9, 2023. Here are all the items included in each of the Operator bundles:

Owing to all the information given above, the new Season 5 Reloaded is going to be an amazing experience. With all this new content, there is no doubt that fans are going to have plenty to be excited about. Perhaps the most amazing thing is that all of this will be getting carried forward to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, which is releasing on November 10. Not only that, all the Player skins and Operators that a player has unlocked in Modern Warfare II will be carried on to Modern Warfare III through their account. How awesome is that?!
