The Guangzhou Charge have stood atop the entire East region for the first half of the season. Though some lower Ovetwatch League teams may fear a team like Poker Face, the Guangzhou Charge fear few teams at all in the Spring Stage Knockouts East, no less a Contenders team. Even is Poker Face does put on a great performance like yesterday, the Guangzhou Charge are the cleanest, most well executed team in the Overwatch League. They won't lose a game like this.

Poker Face is an obvious favorite out of the group of Contenders teams due to their roster that bolsters several former Overwatch League players. These are already players deserving of playing in a tournament like the Spring Stage Knockouts East, so their success against other Contenders teams is much expected. After finishing first in their group, expectations raised even higher for the team. Seeing them dominate their bracket showed that most of these players still play at an Overwatch League level, so their abilities against even Overwatch League teams should be formidable.
