Overwatch 2 Season 5 Battle Pass Overview

Here’s everything about the Overwatch 2 Season 5 Battle Pass & Shop.

The long waiting is finally over because we can access Overwatch 2 Season 5. We’ve already covered everything new in terms of hero changes, the Questwatch event, and more, so make sure to check them out.

Besides these changes, Season 5 of Overwatch 2 will also give us access to a new Battle Pass, as well as new skins in the shop. Although some people aren’t fans of those things, others are always interested in learning what’s new. Some of the things we’ll have access to in Season 5 seem interesting, so let’s learn more about them.

The Battle Pass

Even though the introduction of the Battle Pass in Overwatch 2 was slightly controversial, it seems like players got used to it. The Season 4 Battle Pass was pretty good, so most people expect to see many cool things from the Season 5 one. It seems like Blizzard will live up to people’s expectations because there are several interesting options to pick from:

  • Tier 1 – People who get the Premium Season 5 Battle Pass for Overwatch 2 will have access to 2 legendary skins on Tier 1, as well as a 20% EXP boost. The first skin is for Orisa, whereas the second one is for Zenyatta. Both look pretty good and fit well with Season 5’s theme.
  • Tier 2-9 – In these tiers, the Overwatch 2 Season 5 Battle Pass will give us access to voice lines, intros, emotes, and free coins. Some of them are pretty good, such as the one for Widow that you get on Tier 3.
  • Tier 10 – It’s safe to say that Tier 10 is one of the most interesting rewards in the Overwatch 2 Season 5 Battle Pass. It will give you an epic skin for Echo that makes the hero look green. Apart front this skin, Tier 10 will allow you to unlock the next chapter of Questwatch. Unsurprisingly, the latter is one of the most expected things in Season 5. It will allow Overwatch 2 players to play campaigns and unlock different things. We won’t go into any more detail because there will be a separate article dedicated to Questwatch shortly.
  • Tier 11-19 – These tiers will also include different kinds of cool victory poses, voice lines, sprays, souvenirs, and more.
  • Tier 20 – Once you get to Tier 20, you will get one of the most interesting skins in Season 5 of Overwatch 2. It is for Genji and makes the hero look even more menacing.
  • Tier 21-29 Like the previous tiers, these ones contain many interesting items you can have fun with. Of course, most of them are reserved for the Premium Battle Pass Season 5 owners.
  • Tier 30 – This is the tier that will give you another epic skin. This time, Overwatch 2 players will get a skin for Ana, one of the popular supports in Season 4. The skin itself has a lot of orange, which is not something you see every day.
  • Tier 30-39 – More voice lines, sprays, victory poses, and so on.
  • Tier 40 – This skin in Overwatch 2 Season 5 is for none other than Mei. We expected to see it because Mei was one of the hidden gems during Season 5. Mei’s skin in Overwatch 2 Season 5 is called Alchemist and it makes the hero stand out. It’s safe to say that it is one of the best-looking skins for the hero.
  • Tier 41-44 – A bunch of victory poses, voice lines, and more.

  • Tier 45 – This is the tier that will give a mythic skin for Tracer. To be fair, this Season 5 Battle Pass tier will give you 3 of the components you can use. Although the skin may not appeal to some, WoW players will like it a lot because it makes Tracer feel like a Bloodelf. The skin has different unlockable additions, such as a new hood, new weapon, as well as different color combinations. Once you unlock everything, you will make your Tracer feel like a medieval Knight.

Keep in mind that the mythic skins in Season 5 of Overwatch 2 no longer have the headgear and armor separately. In other words, you have to customize them together instead of individually.

  • Tier 46-49 – Emote icons, sprays, and more.
  • Tier 50 – This is the epic skin for Wrecking Ball that allows the hero to fit in the “bee theme” that we got in Season 5 of Overwatch 2.
  • Tier 51-59 – Play icons, voice lines, sprays, a treasure chest, walking emotes, and more.
  • Tier 60 – This is the Overwatch 2 Season 5 Battle Pass Epic Skin for Kiriko. It’s called Rogue and makes the hero look really cool. Some people may find her similar to the main character in Assassin’s Creed.
  • Tier 61-64 – More voice lines, weapon charms, name cards, and more.
  • Tier 65 – This is the next tier progression for Tracer’s mythical skin in Season 5. It will give you the hood component.
  • Tier 66-69 – voice lines, coins, a highlight intro, and more.
  • Tier 70 – Overwatch 2 players who reach this Season 5 Battle Pass tier will get an Epic skin for Reinhardt called the “Demonlord”. We can see that the inspiration here came from Diablo, which is no surprise, considering that Diablo 4 became available a couple of weeks ago.
  • Tiers 71- 79 – Emotes, voice lines, and more
  • Tier 80 – This is the last unlockable content you can get for Tracer’s Mythical Skin.
