Fortnite Chapter 4 Cash Cups and Victory Cups

The Fortnite competitive calendar for each season is roughly divided into a few events. There’s the FNCS and associated qualifiers. These are the big finals for the end of the Season and have events running throughout to decide which pro teams make it all the way. However, weekly Epic hosts other events. The most common of these are the Cash Cups, regular events held every week through the competitive season. Victory Cups are a form of Fortnite Chapter 4 Solo Cash Cups, basically the same with a minor change to how prizes are awarded.

There’s no ongoing leaderboard or commitment that you’ll need to make outside of the two rounds. Players can just jump in. There is still a cash prize though, as the name kind of points out.

If you’re looking at getting involved, the C4 Solo Cash Cups are a great way to do this. It’s a competitive event where players aren’t on teams, there are fewer pros in the mix, and you don’t have to organize with another player who is on the same level as you to compete. In Chapter 4 Season 4, there isn’t a huge difference in competitive playlists to pubs. The OP rotation tools and Mythics are still there. A couple of the returning Mythics aren’t here like the Deku Smash, but the bulk of the C4 S4 Mythics are all still here

Prizes and Rules for Fortnite Solo Cash Cups

The Fortnite C4 Solo Cash Cups use the same rules and point-scoring system as the rest of the tournaments. If you’re not familiar with them, though, there are some quirks to the scoring to keep in mind. Epic has recently made some changes to award points for other tasks in game beyond the normal placement and elims. Although, they’re still the main way you can get points on the leaderboard.

There’s an emphasis on placement here over kills in scoring. However, kills are a much quicker way to get points than waiting through a game for placement. This is how it all breaks down.

  • Victory Royale – 30 Points
  • 2nd – 25 Points
  • 3rd – 22 Points
  • 4th – 20 Points
  • 5th – 19 Points
  • 6th – 17 Points
  • 7th – 16 Points
  • 8th – 15 Points
  • 9th – 14 Points
  • 10th – 13 Points
  • 11-15th – 11 Points
  • 16-20th – 9 Points
  • 21-25th – 7 Points
  • 26-30th – 5 Points
  • 31-35th – 4 Points
  • 36-40th – 3 Points
  • 41-50th – 2 Points
  • 51-75th – 1 Point
  • Eliminations – 1 Point
  • Capturing a Forecast Tower – 3 Points
  • Capturing Rift Loot Island POI – 15 Points

That’s how the scoring works in the first round. Each day’s second round is different though. In those sections for the Solo Victory Cash Cups, you’ll only get cash for Victory Royales. Since only the dub matters, placement, objectives, and elims don’t count for anything in Fortnite Solo Victory Cups
