WoW Dragonflight 10.1.7 Healer Tier List For Raiding

A look at the Dragonflight 10.1.7 healer Tier List as we continue our adventures in Dragonflight patch 10.1.7.

Patch 10.0 threw a major spanner in the works of every class in WoW. With changes to every single class via new talent trees, it certainly caused some volatility. 10.1.7 will likely see things staying the same for the initial stages of 10.1.7, with a number of buffs and changes to a number of classes.

Note: This tier list is based on data from raider.io and Warcraft Logs. Also, note that you should play whatever spec you want in WoW, and tier lists are completely pointless.

Check out our Tank and DPS Tier lists.

The below information was posted before Dragonflight 10.1.7 came out. This information will be updated post-10.1.7 release if required and will be stated in the text.

Preservation Evoker

With top-tier burst healing, and a raid that has a lot of high, but manageable AOE damage, Preservation Evoker had a good start to the tier. A number of changes have meant that Evoker has slipped slightly but still remains one of the strongest specs in the game.

Holy Paladin

As always, Holy Paladin finds a high with their high throughput, great tank healing and incredible cooldowns. Aura Mastery with Devotion continues to be a potent tool. At the same time, Blessing of Protection and Divine Shield provide them with great damage reduction.

Discipline Priest

As strong as ever, Discipline Priest is still one of the strongest in the healing pool. With some incredible cooldowns in Power Word: Barrier, and Power Word: Shield, Disc brings a unique healer kit to the party. Plus, Power Infusion is a key component for providing extra DPS to your raid.

Holy Priest

10.1.7 is the time for Holy Priest to shine. Finally the Holy Priest is out of the shadow of their Discipline sister and will now lead the pack. It feels like a while since Holy had a chance to shine. Always a strong spec, but always lacking the utility or pure throughput to make them viable. Well, for now, that's about to change.

Restoration Druid

While their Utility is strong and their healing is still useful. Though, as always, it's often best to have just the one Resto Druid due to their healing overlapping

Mistweaver Monk

Still not back to its former glory, Misweaver struggles once again in this tier. Mystic Touch, Generous Pour, and Close to Heart provide some cooldowns. That said, healer HPS is pretty balanced, so it won't be a huge issue if your guild uses Mistweaver. For Mistweaver, at least, the issue is their lack of powerful cooldowns rather than their healing throughput.

Restoration Shaman

Probably the healing in most need of a rework soon. Resto Shammy is all about Spirit Link Totem, and outside of that, it's a little bit of a flop. It's clear that in Season 2, Resto Shammy was clearly built for Mythic+, and not so much for raiding. If you love your Shammy, you probably still will. But, there are likely better options in the healing roster. 10.1 has eventually come good for Restoration, who now find themselves in a “we're ok now” place.
