The RLCS Spring European Regional Spring Cup is here with $100,000 up for grabs alongside RLCS Points.


The Spring Cup is back which is the second of three RLCS Spring regional events. the brackets have reset and teams are back with a fresh start to try and gain as many points as possible in hopes of qualifying for the RLCS Major later this year. After Team Vitality's win in the Spring Open which was hosted earlier in May, they are expected to have another strong event. They currently sit 4th in the European rankings but there is still a big points gap between them and the first-place team Karmine Corp.

RLCS European Spring Cup will feature 16 teams from the closed qualifiers onwards. These teams are entered from either their current point rankings this year or from the open qualifiers that are hosted before the Swiss stage.

RLCS European Spring Cup 2023 – Prize

A Prize pool of $100,000 is up for grabs with the last 16 all up for money. The higher position you get the more money your team will earn. Also, you will gain RLCS Points based on your final position.

  • 1st Place – $30,000 + 24 RLCS Points
  • 2nd Place – $20,000 + 20 RLCS Points
  • 3rd Place – $10,000 + 16 RLCS Points
  • 4th Place – $8,000 + 13 RLCS Points
  • 5th-6th – $6,000 + 11 RLCS Points
  • 7th-8th – $4,000 + 9 RLCS Points
  • 9th-12th – $2,000 + 6 RLCS Points
  • 13th-16th – $1,000 + 4 RLCS Points

RLCS European Spring Cup 2023 – Format

Upper Bracket Round 1 and Quarterfinals are Best of 5. Semifinals and Finals are Best of 7.

Lower Bracket Rounds 1,2 and 3 are Best of 5. Quarterfinals, Semifinals and Finals are Best of 7.

Grand Finals are Best of 7.

After Team Vitality's setback by losing round 1 of the Grand Final, this caused a bracket reset as they were yet to lose during this competition. They managed to turn their defeat around and walk away from the European Spring Cup with $30,000 USD and 24 RLCS points. This brings their total to 123 and they now sit in 3rd place in the EU rankings. They currently sit in the Majors Wildcard qualifying position with just the Spring invitational left to play before this year's Major.
