RLCS World Championship 2023 – Düsseldorf, Germany . Teams, Schedule, Results, How to Watch and More.

RLCS World Championship 2023 is finally here to end the 2022-23 season with the biggest prize pool in RLCS history.

One month after the Spring Series ended we head into the biggest event of the year. The World Championship ends the 2022-23 season with the biggest prize pool to ever grace Rocket League. This year has had some amazing competitions with the top Rocket League players competing since October to gain points in hopes to qualify for this competition. We have also had some unexpected domination in the European bracket which saw Team Vitality sweep the Spring Series by winning all four events to take home the maximum points and money that was up for grabs.

This tournament will bring teams from each region together meaning teams will have matchups against teams they don't play on a regular basis. Team Vitality are expected to perform well in this tournament but other teams should not be forgotten. Karmine Corp have the highest points in the European bracket which shows they are a strong team. Gen.G and FaZe Clan are also two strong teams from North America that will go far in this competition if they can perform at their highest standard. Teams from the smaller regions such as MENA and SAM aren't expected to win but this doesn't mean they wont surprise us. This stage gives them a great opportunity to show the world how good they really are and with every team leaving with a minimum of $8,000 they will still gain something from this competition.

As this tournament is another LAN event meaning there will be no ping which can be difficult for some players to get used to as every RLCS tournament other than Majors are hosted online. Also as players use competitive matchmaking to practice they can struggle at first to get used to having no latency. Tickets are available for the 11th- 13th meaning fans will be in the stands. This can not only pump players up but others may find it as a distraction and could crumble under pressure, especially with a huge amount of money on the line. For fans who don't want to go in person can watch on Twitch. Twitch drops will be available for viewers and will be awarded based on watch times. These can give you some new rewards to add to your garage. To celebrate the end of the RLCS season there is also an event running in Rocket League for fans to collect some themed rewards.
