The RLCS Spring Invitational European Regional is here with $100,000 up for grabs alongside RLCS Points.


The Spring Invitational is here bringing the RLCS Spring regional series to an end. All 16 of the teams are invited to the main event based on their current point rankings this season. All teams need to try and secure as many points as possible in hopes they can qualify for the Spring Major LAN event that will be hosted in Boston at the beginning of July. Karmine Corp and Team Vitaliy are currently the two strongest teams in Europe and are both expected to be the top contenders in this event. Team Vitality has won both of the European Spring Series events so far but still only sit in 3rd place in the EU ladder behind Team Liquid and Karmine Corp.

RLCS European Spring Invitational only has 16 teams which are decided on based on their position in the European points ladder. This event has no closed or open qualifiers unlike the Spring Open and the Spring Cup.

RLCS European Spring Invitational 2023 – Prize

A Prize pool of $100,000 is up for grabs with the last 16 all up for money. The higher position you get the more money your team will earn. Also, you will gain RLCS Points based on your final position.

  • 1st Place – $30,000 + 24 RLCS Points
  • 2nd Place – $20,000 + 20 RLCS Points
  • 3rd Place – $10,000 + 16 RLCS Points
  • 4th Place – $8,000 + 13 RLCS Points
  • 5th-6th – $6,000 + 11 RLCS Points
  • 7th-8th – $4,000 + 9 RLCS Points
  • 9th-12th – $2,000 + 6 RLCS Points
  • 13th-16th – $1,000 + 4 RLCS Points

RLCS European Spring Invitational 2023 – Format

Upper Bracket Round 1 and Quarterfinals are Best of 5. Semifinals and Finals are Best of 7.

Lower Bracket Rounds 1,2 and 3 are Best of 5. Quarterfinals, Semifinals and Finals are Best of 7.

Grand Finals are Best of 7.

Team Vitality takes the win which makes it their 3rd in a row. They have won every single European Spring Regional event and have had total domination in this series. They have also completed the last three events without being knocked down to the lower brackets in the play-off stages which shows just how strong this team has been since the winter break. They currently sit 3rd place in the EU ladder with 143 points and one more competition left before the RLCS Finals. The Spring Major starts on the 7th of July where everything is to be played for and more points are up for grabs so the teams can make the last attempt at reaching the World Championship.
