Jinggg Officially Shifted as a Substitute For Paper Rex

Jinggg was placed as a Substitute for PRX as VCT OFF//SEASON approaches.

Singapore-based esports team, Paper Rex, move Wang “Jinggg” Jing Jie to a substitute role after acquiring upcoming star, Cahya “Monyet” Nugraha. The star player for the team has been a part of the organization's core after joining almost two years prior in September of 2021. After showing stellar performances in both local and international events, the player finally steps down from the active five to a substitute.

Jinggg had already announced his leave from Valorant during the Champions 2023 Tournament. As he will be starting his National Service at the beginning of 2024, the team has been looking for a good replacement. With the OFF//SEASON for Valorant coming about, Monyet from Global Esports will be joining PRX as Jinggg’s replacement.

“He (Jinggg) is still part of the Paper Rex Valorant team and plays an active role in this off-season,” says Paper Rex Chief Gaming Officer, Harley “dsn” Örwall. He further added, “Jing is filled with positive energy, fearless aggression, and continues to personify our identity of WGAMING.” It can be said without any doubt that Jinggg’s absence from PRX will be substantial and the team will need some time to find their footing with the new changes.

Meanwhile, the former Global Esports controller player, Cahya “Monyet” Nugraha, will be starting in the main lineup for PRX. The player has shown immense talent during his stay for the India-based organization. His performance during the VCT Pacific in Seoul and LOCK//IN in Sao Paulo was noteworthy. He was the highest performer for his team on multiple occasions consistently.
