Dota 2 Patch 7.34c – The Biggest Winners

These are the Dota 2 Patch 7.34c biggest winners.

The Dota 2 Patch 7.34c surprised all of us by dropping just a few days prior to DreamLeague Season 21. As expected, this patch features a lot of small and big nerfs that will shape the meta in the upcoming events. In fact, make sure to check our Dota 2 Patch 7.34c overview to learn more information about some of the general changes.

Even though most Dota 2 heroes received small nerfs in this patch, some of them were slightly buffed. We are not sure if this will be enough to see them in the meta, but let’s learn more information about the biggest winners of 7.34c.

Abaddon

Dota 2 Abaddon Guide

Starting with Abaddon, the hero continues to receive small buffs yet again. He is not the most popular name in PUB and Pro Dota 2 games, but he definitely has the potential to be a viable option.

If we take a look at the changelog, we can see that Abaddon’s Mist Coul now has more range on levels 2,3, and 4. Curse of Avernus is also buffed because it grants 20 more attack speed on each level. If that’s not enough, the hero’s level 20 talent, Borrowed Time Immolation, now grants 95 DPS instead of 85. These changes will mostly affect people in the Dota 2 Patch 7.34c who want to use him as a core.

Axe

Axe distracts enemy heroes to help Muerta kill her opponents

Axe is one of those offlaners that are always popular in PUB games, but he’s not that big in pro matches. However, this may change after the most recent updates because he looks really good.

After the Dota 2 Patch 7.34c updates, Axe is definitely one of the biggest winners. His Bersker’s Call now has a 315 radius instead of 300, allowing him to use the ability much easier than before.

Another interesting Axe buff is the one to Culling Blade. The ability now deals 275/375/475 damage, which is a bit more than before. That said, it’s much better to use the ability and kill the target when it’s on now HP.

Finally, the last change that makes Axe one of the biggest winners of 7.34c is the hero’s level 10 talent. It will give the hero +10 armor instead of +8 when he uses Berserker’s Call.

Clinkz

Clinkz deals bonus damage to kill enemy heroes using Searing Arrows

When talking about some of the biggest winners of 7.34c, we need to mention Clinkz. Although he hasn’t been a part of the Dota 2 meta in a while, it seems like this may change because the hero receives 3 big buffs.

The first one is to Strafe because the ability now grants the Burning Skeleton Archers a total of 65% attack speed instead of a flat 50%.

In addition to the extra attack speed, Clinkz’s Burning Barrage is also better than before because it deals 75% damage per arrow instead of 65. Finally, we have the hero’s level 20 talent, which grants +300 Death pact HP instead of +250.

Muerta

Muerta’s a pretty interesting carry in the Dota 2 Patch 7.34c. She was fairly popular in PUBs, but the hero will become more sought-after after the changes because she received a few important buffs.

Perhaps the biggest one is the extra damage for Dead Shot, which allows Muerta to do a lot more DPS overall.

Her ultimate is also better because it gives +20 more damage on level 1 and +10 more on level 2. The extra damage for level 3 is the same as before, which is not bad because it was pretty good as it was.

Finally, Muerta’s level 15 tlanet is also better because Dead Shot gets +100 extra range from before. It probably doesn’t seem like much, but it can help the hero be a lot more effective.

Nyx Assassin

If there’s one hero that players will enjoy a lot during the Dota 2 Patch 7.34c, it has to be Nyx Assassin. Even though he has never been that popular, no one can deny that the most recent buffs make him one of the biggest winners of 7.34c.

After the changes in the recent patch, Mind Flare now has a higher INT multiplier during levels 1, 2, and 3. This will allow Nyx to have a much stronger early game, which he was not good at.

Spiked Carapace is also slightly better because it has lower cooldowns on levels 1, 2, and 3. As for Vendetta, the ultimate now gives the hero a +75 attack range, and the attack animation speed is up to +70% instead of +50%. This is good because players will be able to hit their attack easier than before.

Spirit Breaker

It seems like the Dota 2 Patch 7.34c will bring back some of the heroes we haven’t seen in a while, such as Spirit Breaker. There were times when this was one of the most intriguing heroes in Dota 2, but several nerfs have removed him from the meta. With that said, the recent buffs will probably put him back on the map.

Following the updates, Charge of Darkness gives the hero +25 extra bonus speed per level. Furthermore, the fixed MS will no longer update when slows fades off.

Nether Strike also received a buff because Spirit Breaker’s ultimate will now grant the hero +25 more damage on each level. This is good because SB was famous for not scaling that well in the late game.

Finally, Spirit Breaker’s level 15 talent is also a bit better than before because it grants +45 damage instead of +40.

Zeus

Zeus casts Thundergod's Wrath to strike enemies

Finally, we have one of the best nukers in Dota 2 – Zeus. The hero was kind of forgotten lately because people focused on other options. However, the most recent buffs will definitely make this one of the biggest winners of 7.34c.

After the changes, Zeus’s Lightning Bilt now stuns for 0.35s instead of 0.25s. Besides interrupting abilities, this will now be even more annoying against some of the squishy laters.

Thundergod’s Wrath is also buffed in the most recent patch because its cooldown is now 120s instead of 130/125/120. Furthermore, it now costs less mana on levels 1 and 2, which means that Zeus can use it more frequently.
