Team BDS vs Team Heretics Preview: LEC 2023 Summer Group Stage

Capping off Summer Groups is a crucial bo3 between Team BDS vs Team Heretics. In an unforeseen rematch, two powerhouses will struggle to reach the Playoffs stage for their chance to win a spot at Worlds 2023.

After pulling off an unprecedented win in their previous match, TH will get to stay in the running and get a rare chance to exact revenge on Team BDS, a powerhouse that almost stole last split's title. Will Crownie and co. repeat history, or does KOI have what it takes to get to the top 4? If you're betting on the LEC, this Team BDS vs Team Heretics preview is for you.

Team BDS vs Team Heretics Preview

Team BDS

Team BDS has had a rough run in the LEC this split, but persevered to achieve yet another deep run. Their most recent accomplishment of beating the reigning Spring split champs MAD Lions catapulted the roster into Groups where they were subsequently knocked down a peg by the Kings of Europe.

As always, Adam's hypercarry champ pools become godlike in the event that his team can actually cover for him. In the same vein, Crownie's Kai'Sa knows how to position well during disadvantaged skirmishes to avoid bigger snowballs. All in all, the pink and blue team show the most promise besides the usual split winners we've seen so far.

Team Heretics

At the moment, their newest player transfer Vincent “Vetheo” Berrié seems to be the most powerful tool in their arsenal, and you don't have to look far for proof. The young midlaner only got a handful of deaths as Ahri in TH's last game. At the same time, Mersa's flash engage on Rell almost always results in a win for the Heretics.

Team Heretics vs Team BDS Predictions

The last time these two teams fought, BDS basically overwhelmed the Spanish team with better champ picks and cleaner macro. However, only one of these teams has shown some improvement in their macro. While BDS valiantly stood their ground against EMEA's strongest team, their brute force tactics may falter against Evi and co.'s newly formed tactics. All things considering, Team BDS still stands as the safest bet this round.
