G2's flawless regroup mechanics have allowed them to outmaneuver opponents even in the hardest of deficits. The Winter champs have ended deep runs in the past, and now it's down to one last Summer team before they can earn the rights to a second silver shield this season.
In terms of playmaking, Caps and Hans Sama have never looked better. In fact, both have pretty much mastered the art of playing it safe while also asserting dominance through unpredictable and flashy engagements. The only flaw that can be seen at this point is how they take too long to adapt and strategize before eventually succeeding in the execution. That said, their gameplay prowess on the Rift has barely slipped in the Summer Split, so their current opponents would need to be unshakable for an upset.

As far as player trades go, taking in Lee “Peach” Min-gyu to bolster XL's jungle control and assigning Abbedagge to the midlane permanently were prime moves that helped solidify the team's placement in the very last match of Summer. Sorely underestimated, the British organization enjoyed a groundbreaking winstreak in the start of Groups, and have since refined their playstyle to match those that have long held the top spots. Nevertheless, they'll have to kick things up a notch further if they hope to dethrone 2023's frontrunner.
