EMEA Masters 2023 Summer: Schedule, Standings and How to Watch

EMEA Masters 2023 Summer is here with the best teams of the ERL’s – but where and when can fans watch their favourite regional teams?

EMEA Masters 2023 Summer Play-Ins have started on August 14 with some of the best EMEA teams duking it out in order to make it to the Main Event – but out of the 16 Play-In teams, only 4 can join the 12 teams that have already qualified for the second half of the second EM of 2023.

These four weeks are some of the most exciting time for EMEA League of Legends fans outside of the LEC, MSI and Worlds, as you can watch some rising talent and some hardened veterans fight for the title of the best ERL team, which is just a step above the LEC. But how, when, and where can viewers enjoy the 2023 Summer EMEA Masters?

EMEA Masters 2023 Summer

EMEA Masters 2023 Summer Format

The EMEA Masters 2023 Summer is divided into two stages: the Play-In and the Main Event.

  • 16 teams qualified for the Play-Ins from the various ERL’s such as the French LFL, the Spanish SupeLiga, the German Prime League and the Arabian League.
    • These 16 teams have been divided into four 4-team Groups, where they play a Double Round Robin format, meaning that each team plays every other team twice in Best-of-One matches,
    • After the Play-In Group Stage, the top two teams of each group proceeds to the Knockout Stage
    • In the Play-In Knockout Stage, the eight teams clash against each other in Best-of-Three matches, with the winners advancing to the Main Stage, joining the 12 teams that are already in, growing the competition to 16.
  • The 12+4 teams will fight on in the Main Stage:
    • The 16 participants are drawn into four 4-team groups again depending on seeding:
      • Pool 1: Istanbul Wildcats, Karmine Corp, SK Gaming Prime and Movistar Riders
      • Pool 2: Nativz, Orbit Anonymo Esports, NASR Turkey and BK ROG Esports
      • Pool 3: BISONS ECLUB, UOLSE, AliorBank Team and Macko Esports,
      • Pool 4: The four teams qualifying from the Play-Ins
    • The 16 teams will play against each other in a Double Round Robin format in Best-of-One Matches, just like in the Play-In Stage, and the two best teams will proceed to the Knockout Stage of the Main Event
    • In the Knockout Stage, the 8 teams will face each other in a single elimination bracket, with the 1st placed teams playing against the 2nd placed teams of other groups. All matches are Best-of-Five, and at the end of the Knockout Stage, only the best team remains standing!
