TSM Welcome New Counter-Strike Roster

TSM are all set to end their seven-year Counter-Strike hiatus

Big news from TSM as they introduce a fresh Counter-Strike roster, featuring none other than ex-G2 player Audric “⁠JACKZ⁠” Jug and former ENCE man Valdemar “⁠valde⁠” Bjørn Vangså. This move validates earlier reports that had linked TSM with this particular roster reshuffle.

The roster's final pieces fall into place with Cai “CYPHER” Watson, known for his standout performance during Into the Breach's journey to the BLAST.tv Paris Major quarter-finals. Adding to the lineup is Timofey “interz” Yakushin, formerly a crucial player at Cloud9, and Mădălin-Andrei “MoDo” Mirea, a promising 20-year-old Romanian AWPer who most recently played with Nexus.

According to Dust2.us, TSM had plans to debut their fresh roster during the CCT Online Finals 2. Regrettably, a dispute emerged among TSM, their new players, and head coach Rémy “XTQZZZ” Quoniam, the mastermind behind the new lineup. As a result, TSM chose to pull out of the tournament.

At first, alleged conflicts cast doubt on XTQZZZ's ongoing involvement in the project. Yet, a satisfactory agreement appears to have been reached between the French members and the organization. This is made evident by XTQZZZ's reintroduction to the project, leading to a reunion with JACKZ. This decision marks his reentry into a team after his previous association with G2 in October 2022.

It's been since 2016 that TSM had a Counter-Strike roster, and during that time, they had notable figures like Sean “⁠seang@res⁠” Gares, Russel “⁠Twistzz⁠” Van Dulken, Hunter “⁠SicK⁠” Mims, and Timothy “⁠autimatic⁠” Ta on their team. The players who were part of TSM's last roster made a collective decision to depart following the organization's release of seang@res. The reason behind his release was his involvement in the Open Letter to the Professional eSports Association.

Before that, the organization boasted a remarkable Danish core featuring Nicolai “⁠device⁠” Reedtz and Finn “⁠karrigan⁠” Andersen among its ranks. A rift between the organization and the players resulted in their exit, nonetheless, eventually paving the way for the birth of Astralis.

The recently formed TSM roster doesn't have any upcoming events scheduled at the moment. They are notably absent from the team lineup for ESL Pro League Season 18. They might, however, mark their first appearance in an online tournament or cup.
