Why BLAST Fall Showdown Will Be Played In CSGO?
As the countdown to the Showdown's scheduled start on October 4 enters its final week, BLAST has expressed a fundamental concern: the belief that the allotted timeframe is insufficient for the participating teams to adequately prepare and adapt to competing in Counter-Strike 2, which officially launched on the preceding Wednesday.

The highly anticipated BLAST Premier Fall Final is set to make its triumphant return to Copenhagen's iconic Royal Arena from November 22 to 26. This marquee event is poised to be even more captivating as BLAST says that it will be played in the latest iteration of the Counter-Strike franchise, Counter-Strike 2.

The BLAST Premier Fall Showdown is slated to be an online affair, with Europe and the Americas hosting separate competitions. In each of these regional showdowns, there is a lone opportunity to secure a place in the BLAST Premier Fall Final. The roster for each region comprises eight formidable teams, with high-profile contenders such as ENCE, G2, Cloud9 in Europe, and Liquid, FURIA, Complexity, and Imperial in the Americas, adding to the competitive intensity.
