Serie A has gone through a resurgence in recent times, especially with the Milan clubs coming back into prominence. With that in mind, we delve into deciphering the 3 best Inter Milan formations for EA FC 24.

EA FC 24 best Inter Milan Formations (3-4-1-2)

Serie A is associated with the Catenaccio and Simone Inzaghi, the Nerazzuri manager is a devout of the trademark back three. LM: Federico Dimarco – 82

The attacking width comes from the marauding wing-backs in this formation. Di Marco will occupy the left flank and will be one of the side's major creators through crossing the ball, for which he has an 85 rating. He puts in a lot of whip on the ball, meaning they can be very difficult to defend.

RCM: Hakan Çalhanoğlu – 85

The Turkey international would be the metronome of the side, dictating tempo from deep or progressing the ball with his 86 passing and 85 dribbling. He is also a free-kick specialist rated 85 for Free-Kick Accuracy and someone who can smash one in from a distance since he has 86 Shot Power and 87 Long Shot rating.

LCM: Nicolò Barella – 86

A Relentless disruptor capable of disrupting the opposition and carrying the ball forward when in position is invaluable in this system. Barella is an all-round midfielder in the base of the midfield who has no aspect rated below 78 and is equally good on and off the ball. On the ball, he is balanced and agile, rated 90 for both, and off the ball he has quick reactions (89) to intercept.

RM: Denzel Dumfries – 81

While he isn’t as great a crosser on the ball as Di Marco, Dumfris is Rapid with Quick Steps and can get up and down the pitch constantly since he has 92 stamina. He is the sort of player you wouldn’t have to worry about subbing off. Boasting 89 physicality and a Block style he is a handful in both boxes.

CAM: Henrikh Mkhitaryan – 81

A creative playmaker, he will be the man to provide decisive moments through passing, dribbling, or shooting, for all of which he is rated above 79. He also has the Incisive Pass and Finesse Shot traits, meaning the Armenian international can create moments of magic from very tight spaces.

LS: Lautaro Marinez – 87

Lautraro is the highest-rated player in the Inter Milan line-up; he will be this team’s captain and talisman. Despite being just 174 cm tall, the Argentina international is a menace on both the ground and in the air, with 93 and 90 ratings in Jumping and Aggression respectively. He can score goals in multiple ways, as evidenced by 90 ratings in Positioning Finishing, and Volleys.

RS: Marco Arnautovic – 80
