Kafka Looks to be Coming to a Honkai Star Rail Banner Near You Soon

Social media is aflame with rumours that Kafka, might be joining the Trailblazer crew in Honkai Star Rail sooner than we expected.

As you enter the strange world of Honkai Star Rail, fresh-faced and not a care in the world. Kafka is the one you first meet on your new anime adventure. Who is this purple-haired lady, is she me, is this our protagonist? Sadly, its not quite that simple. Though, she does sort of, give birth to our existence. Obviously, as the story developed we learn more about her, and what her motives are with her story being left open-ended when we depart. We might be bumping into her sooner than we thought, as the Honkai Star Rail Twitter account sent players into a frenzy.

Kafka is coming

With news of patch 1.1 dropping later this week, it's more likely that we'll see Kafka in 1.2. Though, you never know in the world of Gacha, so start saving those Steller Stades now, just in case. Her arrival in our squad will likely come at the end of her current story arc in 1.1 or 1.2, once we know more about her motivations.

If you're a free-2-play player, then the Honkai Star Rail Reddit is a great place for you to prepare yourself for disappointment ahead of Kafka's release. ALongside the memes and professions of love for Kafka, a number of players have already started crunching the numbers for how many Star Rail Passes you might need to pull her in the Banner. This discussion here is the most interesting, with users hoping that she comes in the second phase of the 1.2 banners. Right now, if you save, it looks like 120+ is the number people think they can save, assuming completely free-to-play. Though, having the extra Steller Jade daily login reward will certainly help ease some of that RNG, however, it does cost $5 a month.

For those not just interested in Kafka, it looks like Blade will also (unsurprisingly) be joining her when she does finally come to Honkai Star Rail in the near future.

This event should clear up most of the rumours as we head into the first major release of Honkai Star Rail.
