Rock Tera Chesnaught has some major ways to turn the fight around when its advantages are down. It cuts Flying Type attacks down from 4x effectiveness to 1/2 effectiveness. It also allows Rock Type attacks such as Stone Edge to become more powerful against Flying Type Pokémon, adding to the super effectiveness they already possess. The same goes for Fire Type attacks which are cut down from 2x effectiveness to 1/2 effectiveness, and Fire Type Pokémon take boosted super effective damage as well. This Pokémon's Tera Type is the prime example of what Tera Types are supposed to be used for.

  • Make It Rain

That's all it takes! Three Perrserker boosting Steel Type attacks with Steely Spirit, using Fake Tears to weaken Chesnaught's Special Defense. After each Perrserker uses Fake Tears, Gholdengo can use Make It Rain for a OHKO!
