Ranked Battle Season 9 will likely be the last season to use Regulation D. Once the Pokémon World Championship ends on August 13th, there will likely be a new regulation made for the beginning of the 2024 season. Regulation D is the most refined format so far, and is a great fit for the first Scarlet and Violet World Championship.
