When it comes down to soft supports at The International 12, there are a few big names you need to be ware of.

The soft support is one of the crucial roles for all Dota 2 teams because it enables the rest of the squad to do the most. Although a lot of people do not appreciate soft supports, pro squads are aware that this player has a key role. That’s why it’s no surprise that all soft supports at The International 12 are amazing.

In part 1 of the review, we’ve covered a lot of interesting facts about some of the leading soft supports at TI 12. However, there are several other teams we need to take a look at, and we will do that in this article.

When it comes down to the SEA Dota 2 scene, there’s no arguing that Talon Esports is in a different league. The club’s amazing results allow it to secure a TI slot, which means that it will have to prove itself against the world’s best.

What’s interesting about Talon Esports is that the team has one of the best soft support players in the world in the face of Q. Even though a lot of people underestimate him, he has been one of the best in the world, especially with some heroes.

The 25-year-old player from Thailand played for several teams prior to Talon Esports, but pretty much all of them were Tier 2. Nevertheless, this did not prevent this amazing star to shine, and he has been one of the best for his team.

In terms of the heroes you can often see him with, the list includes things like:

Elvis “Scofield” Peña – beastcoast

Beastcoast has a few big names that everyone has to pay attention to, and by the looks of it, Scofield is one of them. He has been one of the biggest names in South America for years now because he’s been a part of the game since 2015.

Even though he’s just 25, Scofield has a lot of experience and has been a part of pretty much every big team in the region. This includes Thunder Predators, Infamous, and now beastcoast.

Speaking of the devil, he joined BC in 2019 and has been a key part of the team ever since. His ability to play multiple heroes and the fact that he can adapt really fast to the meta makes him incredibly dangerous. In fact, a lot of people may even consider him to be the best soft support at The International 12.

Even though Scofield can play with a wide range of heroes, most people will associate him with one of the following:

Myroslav “Mira” Kolpakov – Team Spirit

The next name on the list is for a TI winner, who is also regarded as the best soft support player in the world. Mira is a 23-year-old superstar who exploded in popularity in 2021. After playing for Cascade for more than 2 years, he became a part of Team Spirit in 2021. Just a few months after that, he and his squad won The International 10 and got the biggest prize in eSport’s history. It’s probably not a surprise Mira has won more than $5M in total.

A player of this caliber can play with pretty much any hero and adapt to any situation. However, there are a couple of names that he’s mostly associated with, such as:

Matthew “Ari” Walker – TSM

Aside from Cr1t–, the second position 4 player from a North American Dota 2 team that we will be able to see in action is Ari. Matthew is from the United Kingdom and he is just 20 years old. Nevertheless, the player has some professional professional experience because he’s been a part of the professional scene for around 1 year now. During that time, he played for Chicken Fighters and Into The Breach, after which he became a part of TSM.

Even though Ari hasn’t been able to win anything so far, he is one of the players that has made a really good impression. He can play well with a lot of heroes, some of which are listed below.

Another interesting thing about Ari is that he’s the first British player who played at a Major. Moreover, the fact that he’s going to attend TI 12 with TSM means he is also the first player from his country to take part in this tournament.

Vitalie “Save-” Melnic – BetBoom Team

The next name on the list is definitely one of the best soft supports at The International 12. Despite being just 21 years of age, Save- has already made a name for himself in his country, as well as in the region. He is known as one of the aggressive supports capable of surprising enemies.

What’s interesting about this player from Moldova is that he’s the current captain of BetBoom Team. Even though he’s been in the pro scene since 2019, Save- proved himself as one of the best captains in the world and he’s more than capable of helping his team win TI 12.

Speaking of the heroes he’s good with, Save- can play with the likes of:

Rodrigo “Lelis” Santos  – nouns

Despite the fact that nouns was not one of the teams that received a direct invitation for The International 12, the team found their way to the finals. Nouns won the North American TI12 qualifiers, and one of the reasons why they achieved such good results is Lelis. The Brazilian/American player is among the top soft supports at The International 12, and he’s a player who can shine with a lot of things.

Lelis played for a lot of big names in several regions, such as Alliance, Quincy Crew, Soniqs, NiP, paiN Gaming, and more. He’s been a part of nouns since late 2022, and now’s the time for him and his team to shine. Of course, a player of this caliber is known for being good with a lot of heroes, including:

Before he was a support, Lelis was also a popular offlaner.
